Perplexity inside MultipleChat: what changes

Does Perplexity see my uploaded files?
Files in a Project are context for every model you use there, Perplexity included, alongside what it finds on the web.
Can I trust Perplexity's citations?
Open them. A citation that does not say what the model claims is common enough to check every source you rely on. That is why the reasoning models are there to cross-check.
When should I not use Perplexity?
For writing, code, long reasoning and anything where the answer is in your own files rather than on the web. Use it for facts and currency; use the others for thinking.
Is my research used to train Perplexity?
No. Content in MultipleChat is never used to train any model, by MultipleChat or by the AI providers.
